Free Slurpee Day
If you're as crazy about Slurpees as I am, you never let July 11 (7/11) go by without noticing. July 11, 2009 will be 7-11's 82nd birthday celebration, and as always, they intend to celebrate by giving away free 7.11 ounce Slurpees at participating locations. Traditionally, participating locations will have 1,000 of the special 7.11 ounce Slurpee Cups, and sometimes you have to ask for the cup at the register. If you put your Slurpee in a regular cup, go to a location that is not participating (call and ask) or get there after they've given away as many as they are going to give away, then you'll have to pay for your Slurpee.
